Event Captain

Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a world-class entertainment destination in Austin, TX, hosting top-tier events like Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR, and MotoGP. We're seeking an Event Captain to join our premium hospitality team, providing exceptional customer experiences.

• Lead event floor operations, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
• Oversee food service in hospitality suites, banquets, and catering events.
• Manage event staff, delegating tasks and ensuring timely execution.
• Communicate effectively with serving, bartending, and culinary staff.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and manage event setup and breakdown.
• Responsible for buffet stations, equipment inventory, and event logistics.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handling food and beverage requests.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving equipment.
• Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure flawless customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience leading food and beverage teams, preferably in stadiums or large-scale events.
• Proven customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptability and ability to learn quickly.
• Renowned time management and organization skills.

This role will work out of Circuit of The Americas, with events taking place indoors, outdoors, or in temporary structures. The position will require frequent movement throughout the venue and grounds.
