About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Vireo Health, Inc. in a retail cannabis dispensary environment. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient information, ensuring the highest level of patient medication safety.
  • Assist patients with all aspects of the dispensation process, including preparation, setup, and finalization, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Complete operational requirements by maintaining an organized workflow, verifying preparation and labeling of medications, and verifying order entries and charges.
  • Utilize computer systems and programs to facilitate daily operations, including patient communication, refill orders, making appointments, and home deliveries.
  • Maintain cash registers and accountability for assigned drawers, completing opening and closing procedures as assigned.
  • Comply with state law and regulations, providing oversight for overall dispensary compliance under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Participate in recordkeeping and reporting necessary for State Compliance.
  • Attend staff meetings, continuing education, and training as directed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to custodial procedures, rules, and regulations, and adhering to infection-control standards.
  • Assist patients and caregivers through the dispensary process and experience.
  • Educate patients on the proper use and storage of medical cannabis medications.
  • Follow the Green Goods customer service model.
  • Work with supervisors to set and accomplish goals.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned.
  • Respond to patient communication platforms.
  • Troubleshoot patient issues regarding the usage of cannabis products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and 1-3 years' experience in a retail environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable to change in the work environment.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Flexible availability including but not limited to weekends and evenings.
