Position Overview

As a Vascular Ultrasound Technician, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary evaluations, ensuring a balance between patient care and operational efficiency. Your role is pivotal in providing an exceptional service experience for our patients.

Work Schedule: This is a Part-Time position with shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound assessments to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Physician to communicate the treatment plan to patients, ensuring it meets their individual needs.
  • Prepare and sanitize procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound facilities before and after patient appointments.
  • Perform additional ultrasound assessments as dictated by the Physician's treatment plan to guarantee patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Adhere to established timeframes for each ultrasound procedure to maintain a smooth patient flow throughout the day.
  • Coordinate with office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to manage the ultrasound schedule, ensuring the availability of technicians for timely patient care.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance the quality of work and skills in alignment with company standards.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to support effective operational processes.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Compensation: $38-$47 per hour.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program is mandatory.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) is required, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills, effective prioritization, and teamwork capabilities.
