We are seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to join our team at Spectrum Vision Partners. As a leading management services organization, we provide world-class management solutions to ophthalmology practices and ambulatory surgery centers throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.

Job Summary

The Senior Security Analyst will work within our Information Technology organization to ensure the ongoing protection of applications, systems, network, physical assets, and data of the company. This involves ensuring security tools and processes designed to protect our data, systems, and network are working effectively together.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and address vulnerabilities on on-premises and remote networks, including cloud operating environments.
  • Develop and implement information risk and security leading practices throughout the company.
  • Select security technology through RFP/RFI processes, ensuring alignment with Information Security policy and client requirements.
  • Establish Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators for Security Operations services, monitoring effectiveness and developing performance improvements as needed.
  • Maintain Security Incident Response capabilities and plans, and Business Continuity plans.
  • Monitor systems for potential vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct penetration testing, network security, and vulnerability assessments to expose and correct security flaws.
  • Manage patching to defray business impact while keeping security protocols up-to-date.
  • Monitor computer networks and systems for threats and security breaches.
  • Respond to security incidents and prepare reports on security incidents.
  • Maintain and implement vendor security assessment plans, conducting vendor security reviews to ensure compliance with COMPANY security policies, standards, and external compliance requirements.
  • Draft and develop vendor security-related policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other security organization members on cross-business/cross-functional opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, vulnerability and compliance management solutions, logging and security incident/event management (SIEM), secure access service edge (SASE), endpoint security, and cloud posture management, and cloud security.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively about information risk and security solutions that balance data safety with business success.
  • Experience working with regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SSAE-16 (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3), EU Data Privacy and Security, Privacy Shield, and others.
  • Experience developing, executing, and maintaining Security audit plans, audit standards, and vendor security reviews.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse populations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly collaborative, with ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment, with experience in matrix environments.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills, with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in high-volume environments and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Flexible and willing to participate in global conference calls.
  • Industry certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CISM preferred, with ability to obtain one or more within 18 months if not currently certified.
