Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy treatments to residents, adhering to treatment plans developed by our Occupational Therapists.
  • Assist Occupational Therapists with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Monitor and record resident progress, providing valuable insights to our therapy team.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Participate in in-service programs and meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and resident-centered care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience in a skilled care setting, preferably with a similar resident population.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and follow facility policies and procedures.
