Job Summary
Northern Light Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse II- Float Pool to join our team at Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland, ME. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

About the Role
This dynamic nurse will work on the Float Pool unit, providing high-quality patient care to assigned patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, utilizing advanced knowledge and skills to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and address complex needs
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and implementation of performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices by attending educational sessions and conferences

Requirements
- RN licensure in the state of Maine (BLS certification required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds, with flexibility to work alternate shift schedules (day, evening, nights, weekends)
