Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Technician III to join our team at AmeriCold Logistics. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing advanced refrigeration maintenance and repair throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and set up ideal operational settings and parameters for all refrigeration equipment.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and take appropriate actions to ensure optimal operation.
  • Pump out/evacuate refrigerant as necessary for component level replacement and/or repair.
  • Provide in-depth troubleshooting of refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and controls systems to root cause and recommend corrective action.
  • Perform calibrations and replace components within the refrigeration system, following safe LOTO procedures and in accordance with our PSM program.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 5 years of industrial refrigeration maintenance experience, including ammonia refrigeration.
  • Completion of RETA Operator 1 & 2 courses preferred, or successful completion of industry-recognized Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration training.
  • RETA CIRO certification preferred.
