Tanker Truck Operator

We are seeking a skilled Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at Allan Myers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving a tanker truck to predetermined destinations, applying your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive tanker truck to predetermined destinations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of water and/or tack.
• Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum safety conditions and report any issues to the shop.
• Work with paving crews to apply tack-coat and ensure smooth transportation of materials.
• Maintain accurate truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to report any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of CDL driving experience with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• In compliance with all DOT physical requirements.
• Valid class B Commercial Drivers License required.
• Hazmat experience preferred but not required.
