Welder Specialist

Morgan Truck Body Careers is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

The estimated salary for this position is $24-$28 per hour, depending on experience. The location of the job is in Avalon, WI 53505.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled welder to operate various welding equipment, working with aluminum, steel, and galvanneal materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality products while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate welding equipment, following customer or employer requirements
• Weld metals according to specifications
• Install lift gates, walk ramps, and platforms
• Maintain a safe working environment by wearing protective gear
• Examine equipment after welding and advise maintenance of defects

Requirements:

• 6 years of welding experience or more
• Proficiency in three or more welding materials: mild steel, galvanneal, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel
• Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
• Basic experience with hand tools
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
