Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Med Surg

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Med Surg to join our team in Flatlands, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Nurse RN Med Surg to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Travel Nurse RN Med Surg, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care and the nursing process.
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to manage patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
  • Prioritize patient care, including teaching, rounding, coaching, and planning for after-hospital care, and delegate tasks as appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • NYS RN License
  • BLS, ACLS
  • 2 years of med/surg experience
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience
  • 1 year travel experience for Travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions)
  • EPIC experience highly preferred
