Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer, Computer Vision to join our Core Tech teams and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies that drive the state-of-the-art forward. As a Technical Lead, you'll be responsible for driving the team's goals and technical direction, inventing and optimizing real-time VR and AR computer vision algorithms, and leading cross-functional teams across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invent and analyze novel computer vision algorithms for 3D reconstruction, SLAM, object detection, tracking, sensor fusion, and camera calibration.
  • Develop and optimize software solutions that rapidly deliver high-quality results.
  • Lead technical discussions and make architectural trade-offs to ensure efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with organization leaders to improve team performance and identify new opportunities.
  • Communicate complex features and systems effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience leading projects with industry-wide impact.
  • Vast experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
  • Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmaps and influencing senior engineers across organizations.
  • Significant experience in programming languages and technical backgrounds.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field.
