Phlebotomist - Per Diem Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team on a per diem basis in Newton, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients in various settings, including inpatients, outpatients, and nursing homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of phlebotomy procedures and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients in various settings
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a phlebotomy course or previous phlebotomy experience
  • Experience in phlebotomy of all age groups preferred
  • Computer skills and customer service skills required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
