Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive Extrusion Supervisor to oversee our 2nd shift operations (3pm - 11pm). This role is crucial in managing the daily functions of the extrusion department. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in aluminum, casting, extrusion, and metal production.
This position demands an individual with a sharp attention to detail, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and efficiency.
As the Extrusion Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our production processes comply with industry standards while fostering a safe and effective working environment for our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the extrusion team.
- Ensure all extrusion machinery is well-maintained, scheduling repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Oversee production timelines and quality assurance processes to guarantee products meet specified standards.
- Train, mentor, and support team members, promoting a positive and efficient workplace.
- Maintain detailed production records, tracking relevant data and generating reports as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and effective production operations.

Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in metals extrusion or a similar role within the metal industry.
- Knowledge of aluminum, casting, extrusion, and metal production processes.
- Experience in requisitioning materials and maintaining production documentation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
