Job Title: Remodeler

We are seeking a skilled and experienced construction Remodeler to join our dynamic team at York Builders.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction trades, demonstrating expertise in tasks such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction.

Responsibilities

1. Project Execution:

• Perform a variety of construction tasks, including but not limited to carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction duties.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute projects accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination in project execution.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to create a secure work environment.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Equipment Operation:

• Operate a variety of construction equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

Quality Assurance:

• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship to deliver top-quality construction projects.
• Conduct inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and regulations.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide updates on project progress, challenges, and timelines.

Problem Solving:

• Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction projects promptly and efficiently.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve construction processes.

Qualifications

1. Experience:

• Proven experience as a construction tradesman or remodeler with a strong background in various construction trades.
• Familiarity with residential and commercial construction projects.

Skills:

• Proficient in the use of construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus.

Physical Fitness:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to routinely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 80 pounds, and rarely lift, carry, and move, with assistance of a team member or equipment, materials weighing up to 400 pounds.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid driver's license.
• Relevant certifications in construction trades are desirable.
