Job Summary

As a Senior Quality Verification Inspector at Constellation Energy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and performing day-to-day inspections to guarantee adherence to company and regulatory requirements. You will also oversee inspection activities, review work packages, and collaborate with contract inspectors for special projects. Additionally, you will be involved in developing and revising inspection procedures, providing oversight of supplemental inspectors, and supporting fleet initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and perform day-to-day inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Oversee inspection activities, review work packages, and collaborate with contract inspectors for special projects
- Develop and revise inspection procedures, provide oversight of supplemental inspectors, and support fleet initiatives

Requirements

- A four-year college degree with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, or an Associate degree with a minimum of 7 years of industry experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 10 plus years of industry experience
- Certification as a Level II or III Quality Verification inspector in the Welding discipline in accordance with NQA-1 (1994) requirements
- Certifications as a Level II or III Quality Control inspector in two or more inspection disciplines in accordance with NQA-1 (1994) requirements in addition to Welding certification
- Demonstrated ability to become certified as a Level III Quality Control Inspector
- Ability to interface with the craft and management and clearly communicate issues regarding non-compliance

Preferred Qualifications

- Possession of multiple Level III Quality Control certifications
- A 4-year technical degree
- Successful completion of core supervisory/management training and development programs
- Previous supervisory experience in Operations, Maintenance/craft, Work Control, Engineering, or Supply Management
