Position Overview:
As a key member of the Manufacturing Excellence team, your role will involve assisting plant operations in achieving reductions in costs, minimizing material waste, and enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across the Ecolab manufacturing network. This position entails travel, with expectations of 75% of your time spent on the road.

Your responsibilities will include spearheading initiatives to optimize operations using our Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective improvement strategies. You will play a crucial role in identifying, defining, and executing projects alongside the plant operations team, while also establishing a pipeline of future initiatives. Project timelines may vary, typically ranging from 3 to 6 months throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be proactive, taking the initiative to comprehend existing operations, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and contribute to a roadmap for manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify essential operational projects aimed at reducing costs, minimizing material loss, and improving OEE.
  • Manage a portfolio of improvement projects effectively.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions for outdated data processes.
  • Collaborate with local plant teams and regional TPM teams to identify projects, execute plans, deploy tools, and achieve results.
  • Proactively recommend and uncover opportunities for manufacturing transformation within the Supply Chain organization.
  • Educate others on systems, tools, and processes.
  • Lead the automation of processes and analytical tasks.
  • Travel requirements range from 75% to 100% based on project locations, with the ability to work from our physical sites during assignments.
  • *This position does not offer remote work options.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical, business intelligence, production management, or project engineering role.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with TPM tools, particularly Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Planned Maintenance (PM), and Focused Improvement (FI).
  • Strong financial acumen related to operations.
  • Proven ability to create, implement, document, and continuously enhance processes in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience or training in data engineering skills, including ETL, data warehousing, database systems, data analysis, and machine learning.
  • Demonstrated history of managing and delivering multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives concurrently.
