About the Job

Ruan Transportation Management Systems is seeking part-time, Class A CDL and non-CDL yard drivers to support our dedicated retail customer based in Rialto, CA.

Requirements

  • Previous yard experience is required for both CDL and non-CDL holders.
  • Must be at least 22 years or older.
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply).
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years.
  • Additional qualifications will apply.
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's website before being hired.
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years.

Compensation and Schedule

  • Non-CDL drivers earn $21 per hour for a.m. shift and CDL drivers earn $23 per hour.
  • All shifts pay overtime after 8 hours per day.
  • Weekend shifts are 12 hours long with overtime after 8 hours per day, running from 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. or 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Available shift days are Saturday or Wednesday, as well as Friday through Monday.

Equipment and Safety

  • Drivers will maneuver tractors and trailers at our facility.
  • Previous yard experience is required.
