Job Title: EDI Tester for Managed Care Transition Project

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled EDI Tester to join our team at Ask IT Consulting. As an EDI Tester, you will be responsible for performing QA and testing work related to the Managed Care Transition Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the testability of requirements and develop test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
  • Execute functional, integration, and regression tests.
  • Develop and execute test scripts for HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions such as 837I, 837P, and NCPDP D.0.
  • Develop SQL queries and experience with scripting automated Test Suites.
  • Review, analyze, and report test results.
  • Work with end users to ensure user acceptance testing is thorough and complete.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in conducting QA and testing on EDI applications.
  • 5 years of experience assessing the testability of requirements and developing test cases.
  • 5 years of experience in the execution of functional, integration, and regression tests.
  • 3 years of experience with Healthcare Claims Processing Testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Test and Defect Management Tools, HP ALM, and JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in scripting automated Test Suites.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
