Overview:

Emergent365 is in search of a proficient Coupa Transformation Consultant to enhance our procurement processes. This role will involve close collaboration with various internal teams, including HR, Finance, and Technology, to assess current challenges and optimize approval protocols within the Coupa system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to identify and address issues with existing approval rules.
  • Evaluate and analyze current approval processes within the Coupa platform, pinpointing areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design new approval rules that improve operational efficiency.
  • Establish a timeline for project execution and provide regular updates on progress.
  • Create a systematic approach for the annual review of approval rules to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct a detailed analysis of corporate versus fund expenses to ensure accurate categorization and approval workflows.
  • Offer guidance on the effective use of the Coupa platform and optimized approval rules.
  • Work alongside IT teams to implement necessary changes to the Coupa system, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Monitor the performance of new approval rules and recommend further optimizations as needed.
  • Ensure users have the appropriate access and permissions to perform their roles effectively.

Collaboration:

This role is highly visible and requires building strong relationships with key departments such as Accounting, Accounts Payable, Global Procurement, and Information Technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Coupa platform, particularly in transforming approval rules.
  • Strong knowledge of procure-to-pay processes and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Solid understanding of expense categorization, distinguishing between corporate and fund expenses.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, is advantageous.
  • Coupa Procure-to-Invoice System Administration Certification or relevant training.
  • Proven ability to navigate and optimize the Coupa system for efficient procurement administration.
  • Experience managing Coupa system tasks, including configuring approval chains, invoicing, and process workflows.
