Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid clients with daily living tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide reminders for medication and assist with medication management
  • Ensure a safe and tidy environment for clients through light housekeeping
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Accompany clients to their appointments and outings
  • Observe and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Active CNA certification in South Carolina is preferred but not mandatory
  • Previous experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to care plans
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and the importance of client confidentiality
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Reliable transportation is required
