Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Alps Pharmacy. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and evaluate prescription orders, compounding and dispensing medications as needed.
  • Maintain proper storage and handling of medications and equipment.
  • Oversee the actions of auxiliary personnel and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Provide clinical problem-solving and communication skills to patients, physicians, and insurance companies.
  • Assist in quality improvement functions and review patient complaints.
  • Take final accountability for all actions, decisions, and results of the pharmacy staff.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Current license by the state Board of Pharmacy.
  • Preferred: Certified to administer immunization services and prior experience in retail pharmacy.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
