About the Job

At Danone, we are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our manufacturing team in Chatsworth, California. As a key member of our plant team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to complete various tasks within the operation.
  • Support production operations by staging and loading of finished goods, receiving tasks, and managing WIP inventory.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, adhering to FIFO principles and documenting all relevant information.
  • Work safely in the warehouse environment, following all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments and management to achieve plant goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 months of related experience and/or training in a similar environment.
  • Certified to operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and electric pallet jack.
  • Knowledge of SAP/Tekdan and using a scan gun.
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs and work extended hours and weekends.
