Job Summary

Graco is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts while minimizing waste and ensuring efficient production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines to produce parts that meet Graco's quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Perform daily maintenance of machines and recommend improvements to optimize production.
  • Read and understand work orders and blueprints for the parts being produced.
  • Provide accurate inventory counts and maintain parts in designated areas.
  • Collaborate with engineers, quality, and supervisors to develop processes and improve productivity.
  • Perform side operations during machine cycles as required, such as deburring.
  • Work as a team member to support all shifts and personnel to achieve departmental standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience.
  • Completion of a 2-year certified machining program or technical school diploma in CNC Machining.
  • Ability to read and understand CNC programs and operational layouts.
  • Knowledge of hand measuring instruments, basic math, geometry, and algebra.
  • Strong PC skills and ability to work with Microsoft products.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Certificate.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting and loading of up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stooping, occasional use of stairs, and reaching above the shoulder.
