Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing related services to students with physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized physical therapy plans for students with physical disabilities
  • Provide direct and indirect physical therapy services in educational settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement educational plans
  • Participate in IEP and team meetings to determine the need for physical therapy services
  • Monitor student progress and adjust goals and interventions as needed
Requirements
  • Current license from the State of Illinois, Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to practice physical therapy
  • Ability to communicate and interact with students of various ages and developmental levels
  • Knowledge of philosophy, principles, and practice of Physical Therapy as they relate to school-based practice
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and make data-driven decisions
