Job Summary

AECOM/Hunt is seeking a highly skilled Structural Project Manager to join our team in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a project from pre-construction to contract closeout, with significant profit/loss responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall management and administration of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Establish project-specific objectives and policies, and provide guidance to subordinate managers to ensure their implementation.
  • Act as a primary liaison between AECOM and clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage and oversee all facets of the project, including design, procurement, construction, and contract closeout.
  • Administer the project from pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover, and contract closeout.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide subordinate managers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
