Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Superintendent to join our team at Kiewit Power Constructors. As a Millwright Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading a team of craft workers in the assembly and installation of rotating equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, pumps, and compressors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervisory direction to craft workers to ensure productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute field operations to ensure compliance with erection manuals and quality procedures.
  • Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
  • Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, and inform project and corporate management as necessary.
  • Ensure project rules, procedures, and programs are followed consistently, including those related to safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience in precision millwright scopes of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt.
  • Team player with the ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
