Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team at Axon Medical Centers. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support rehabilitation efforts.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in implementing treatment plans, providing therapeutic exercises, and monitoring patient progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Guide patients through prescribed exercises and activities to promote optimal recovery and mobility
  • Monitor patient progress and report findings to the physical therapist to inform adjustments to treatment plans
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, care routines, and overall wellness strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure the therapy environment remains clean, organized, and safe for patients and staff
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver holistic patient care and support seamless communication among multidisciplinary professionals
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse populations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to delivering empathetic and supportive services
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in clinical or rehabilitation settings, with a focus on patient-centric care and outcomes-driven practices
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other digital tools supporting efficient documentation and record-keeping
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Axon Medical Centers offers a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, a supportive work environment, and potential for career advancement.
