Position Summary:
Norco, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Respiratory Therapist/Clinician. This role is crucial in evaluating, ordering, and setting up various respiratory equipment and rehabilitation services as needed. The Respiratory Therapist/Clinician will serve as a vital link between Norco and our referral sources, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives to ensure optimal equipment solutions for clients.
  • Conduct evaluations in diverse settings, including homes, clinics, nursing facilities, and hospitals.
  • Provide product demonstrations and sales support to the healthcare community.
  • Oversee the Quality Improvement Program to enhance service delivery.
  • Troubleshoot respiratory equipment issues during business hours and as needed after hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Promote Norco's services to potential referral sources.
  • Coordinate respiratory-related discharges with customer service personnel.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as CRTT, RRT, RN, LPN, or eligibility for any of the aforementioned.
  • State licensure as mandated.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and over 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse clientele in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Strong public relations and customer service aptitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting written materials and utilizing technology.
  • Quick learner of new equipment and technologies.
  • Previous experience in home care is preferred.
