  • Identify and troubleshoot problems creatively.
  • Contribute to the definition and timely achievement of project goals.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for reagent production.
  • Participate in reagent and starting material production.
  • Analyze data and develop protocols.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records.
  • Present findings at team meetings.
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with:

  • Advanced knowledge of nucleotide/heterocyclic chemistry, phosphorus chemistry, and complex/multi-step organic synthesis.
  • Experience with chemical and biochemical samples, including sample handling, reactivity, purification, and storage.
  • Technical background in next-generation DNA sequencing.
  • Proficiency in HPLC, MS, NMR, automated DNA synthesizers, inert atmosphere chambers, and manual pipetting.
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $117,700-218,500, based on location and experience. A discretionary annual bonus may be available, as well as relocation benefits. Additionally, you'll have access to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
