Position Summary: The Shipping/Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in the logistics and inventory management processes at Facet Technologies. This position is responsible for ensuring that all shipping and receiving tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Assist in the execution of inventory protocols as needed.
  • Keep the workspace organized and tidy to promote safety and cleanliness.
  • Complete necessary documentation such as Pick Tickets and Inventory Count Sheets with precision.
  • Examine the condition and quantity of incoming materials prior to storage or distribution.
  • Facilitate the movement of materials within the warehouse as required.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Accurately fulfill orders based on system-generated pick tickets.
  • Comprehend and interpret product descriptions, item numbers, and stock location labels in English.
  • Be available for overtime work and participate in physical inventory counts as needed.
  • Possess basic computer skills for inventory management tasks.
  • Transport finished goods from production areas to storage or shipping locations using a lift truck.
  • Implement 5S principles and maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure proper storage of materials, paying special attention to high bay racking safety protocols.
  • Execute inventory transactions accurately.
  • Maintain organized stock locations and work areas on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

Education: A High School Diploma is required.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Shipping/Receiving is preferred. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to operate a forklift or a willingness to learn.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM EST. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent placement.
