Position: Financial Analyst
Location: Tampa, FL
Compensation: $27.65/hour
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years in financial management encompassing auditing, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or payroll, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Experience in public housing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Yardi software is highly desirable.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
Employment Type: Full-time; Contractual
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
HH Staffing Services is in search of a Financial Analyst to become part of a progressive and vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, maintain, and audit financial records.
- Prepare journal entries and allocate transactions to the appropriate accounts.
- Develop and oversee operational budgets.
- Track cash flow from receipt to bank deposit and prepare journal entries.
- Reconcile pooled cash and property bank accounts along with other assigned accounts.
- Manage accounting for authority grants, including assisting with applications and reports.
- Review payments and income for accurate coding and calculations.
- Post sub-ledgers to the general ledger on a daily basis.
- Prepare and audit property budgets, reconciling tenant security deposits and rental payments.
- Generate budget reports, clarify variances, and implement necessary adjustments.
- Assist with monthly financial statements and year-end reporting utilizing Excel and Yardi software.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Valid Florida Driver's License, insurable under the agency's insurance policy.
- Understanding of professional accounting principles and practices along with HUD requirements.
