Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in our Inpatient Hospice Unit. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients and their families, working under the supervision of our registered nurses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care and services as specified by the assigned unit
  • Follow RN's direction to complete assigned patient care tasks according to established clinical procedures
  • Gather and document data accurately to contribute to patient assessment and medical record integrity
  • Report abnormalities to the RN and recognize areas where patient response deviates from desired outcome
  • Identify emergency situations and take appropriate action, reinforcing patient teaching as delegated by the RN
  • Establish a rapport with patients, communicating therapeutically and patient-focused

Requirements
  • Wisconsin CNA certification, allowing you to work in Federally Certified Home Health Agencies and Hospices
  • Prior experience working with the public required
  • Current/valid WI driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Part-time - 16 hours/week - 3pm-11:30pm (2 work days during the week) + every other weekend rotation
