About the Role

MU Health Care is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in the Radiology department. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high-field strength magnets and related equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images
  • Screen patients for MR safety and assist radiologists with procedure protocols
  • Administer contrast media and provide for the psychological and physical needs of patients
  • Evaluate MR scans for technical quality and maintain accurate patient records
  • Provide education and training for student technologists and assist with the education of new physicians
Requirements
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Two (2) years of experience as an MRI technologist
