About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Underground Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Mechanical One. As a key member of our plumbing crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining underground piping systems for residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using various materials and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand power tools or machines.
  • Repair and replace defective washers, mends broken pipes, and open clogged drains.
  • Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify errors, safety hazards, or other issues.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and teach trade skills to less experienced employees.
  • Layout and install underground piping for residential homes.
  • Understand and comply with municipal inspection procedures and plumbing codes.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a residential plumbing installer.
  • Valid Driver's license and clean MVR report.
  • Ability to own and use power tools to execute plumbing jobs.
  • Ability to wear company-approved personal protection equipment.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to complete tasks within the company's standard timeframe.
