About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Machinery Technician to join our highway maintenance crew. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment such as sweepers, trucks, and front-end loaders in a safe and efficient manner.

You will also be tasked with loading and unloading trucks, hauling materials, plowing and sanding highways, and performing minor maintenance on equipment. Additionally, you will perform unskilled labor duties such as digging holes, shoveling materials, and leveling areas.

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires a valid Class B Massachusetts motor vehicle operator's license with a CDL and a Hoist Engineer Class 2B License or obtain within 120 days of appointment.

Salary and Benefits:

Our salary range is $953.12 weekly, plus benefits including medical insurance through the Group Insurance Commission (GIC), dental coverage low and high plans through Cigna, vision care through Vision Service Plan (VSP), and long term disability through Sun Life.
