Cybersecurity Specialist

HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on managing and administering core security components, including Firewalls, Proxy & Threat Protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administrate core security components like Firewalls, Proxy & Threat Protection.
• Monitor all services to ensure they are up and running.
• Troubleshoot user-reported incidents quickly and efficiently.

About the Role

This role requires 8-12 years of hands-on experience in the security domain, managing security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Firewall & Network, including Switching, Routing, IPSEC VPNs, Tunnelling and Security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Palo Alto infrastructure, handling critical escalations, and driving P1/P2 issues to closure. They will also prepare monthly/weekly reports and mentor teammates.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Firewall & Network, including Switching, Routing, IPSEC VPNs, Tunnelling and Security.
• Remediation of network security compliance reports generated daily.
• Performing device replacements and firmware upgrades when required.
• Troubleshooting customer authentication incidents.
• Monitoring performance and availability of firewall devices using Customer Network Monitoring Tools.
