Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and Resolve Design Build Issues: Conduct thorough investigations to identify and resolve design build issues, ensuring that all solutions meet the required standards and specifications.
- Develop Structural Engineering Solutions: Design and develop structural engineering solutions for aircraft and aerospace systems, including temporary engineering and instrumentation installation.
- Disposition Aircraft Non-Conformances: Disposition aircraft non-conformances, including rework instructions, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance, and operations manufacturing representatives, to ensure seamless integration and coordination.
- Design Flight Test Engineering Change Requests: Design and develop flight test engineering change requests, ensuring that all changes meet the required standards and specifications.
- Author Engineering Instructions: Author engineering instructions to define structural special instructions or restrictions, ensuring that all instructions are clear and concise.
- Design and Release Special Missions Engineering: Design and release special missions engineering structural and systems installations, ensuring that all installations meet the required standards and specifications.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency: Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) to comply with US ITAR requirements.
- Education and Experience: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited University, with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.
- Technical Skills: Must have proficiency in CATIA V5 Workbenches, including Assembly Design, Part Design, and Aerospace Sheetmetal, with a minimum of 10,000 hours of experience.
- Communication and Collaboration: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Additional Requirements: Must have proficiency with MS Office tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in ENOVIA LCA and Teamcenter PLM a plus.
