Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Overnight Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin, TX. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, visitors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular foot patrols of the site interior and perimeter to identify potential security risks and undesirable conditions.
  • Evaluate situations and make logical decisions on how to proceed and direct work.
  • Maintain order on the site and coordinate responses to emergency conditions, including fires, safety hazards, and threats to life and property.
  • Handle undesired conduct, violations of building policy, and civil laws as warranted for the security and safety of guests, employees, patrons, and property.
  • Answer security telephone and safety hotline calls and respond in a timely manner based on priority.
  • Monitor life-safety systems, including accurate layout of the building, locations of stand pipes, fire extinguishers, and complete alarm reports.
  • Administer CPR and first aid as needed.
  • Provide accurate information to inquiries for directions and hours of operations.
  • Escort guests and employees as required to parking lots.
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Guard Card.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule, including overnight shifts, Monday through Friday and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
