Acquisition Security Specialist

About the position: We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Security Analyst to join our team at Top Secret Clearance Jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Government Program Manager with the development and implementation of comprehensive program protection methodologies to safeguard advanced technology programs throughout their lifecycle.
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of security policy, manuals, and regulations, as well as experience working with acquisition programs and sensitive information. The Acquisition Security Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and develop risk management-based program protection plans. This includes providing technical advice and security support to collateral and SAP programs, as well as emerging mission areas.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth lifecycle program analysis to identify critical program information, vulnerabilities, and associated countermeasures.
- Assist with the identification and implementation of security measures to mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement program protection plans and strategies based on risk assessments.
- Provide security recommendations to the PM, GSSO, and cognizant security authorities.
- Maintain relationships with PMs, Contracting Officers, and contractor security officers to ensure standardized processes for DD Form 254 efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in acquisition programs.
- 2+ years of experience with SCI or SAR programs.
- Familiarity with security policy, manuals, and regulations (ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals).
- Knowledge of the DD Form 254 and its application in the Air Force acquisition process.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and interact with multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative.
