Science Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our team at Lincoln County High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to high school students and will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to student learning and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Science to high school students, including Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Science
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in Science education

Requirements:

• Valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate with endorsement in Chemistry, Physics, or Physical Science
• Strong knowledge of Science curriculum and instructional methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
