Nurse Practitioner Position

Overview:

i4 Search Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, discuss symptoms and concerns, and perform thorough examinations to diagnose medical problems and prescribe medication or create treatment plans.

About the Role:

This part-time position requires a highly skilled individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording medical histories, performing physical exams, administering diagnostic tests, and creating patient care plans.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing physical examinations and screenings of patients.
  • Recording patient medical histories and symptoms.
  • Facilitating new patient consultations and health history reviews.
  • Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
  • Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests, including bloodwork.
  • Reviewing and interpreting test results to diagnose health problems.
  • Recommending further treatment options or future appointments if needed.
  • Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
  • Administering medicine and other treatments.
  • Providing referrals to other practitioners when necessary.
  • Detecting changes in patient health and modifying treatment plans as needed.
  • Providing after-care and ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families.
  • Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
  • Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
  • Ensuring patient records are up-to-date, including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.
Requirements:
  • New graduates considered for primary care positions; specialties require at least 6 months' experience.
  • Active NP license in DE.
  • DEA license or willingness to obtain.
  • Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology.
  • Able to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and other nurses.
  • Proficient in EHR medical charting system and computer-based data management programs and information systems.
  • A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of disease prevention.
