We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Server Cashier to join our team at Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District. As a Server Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students and staff while maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.

• Assemble and prepare equipment for daily food service
• Preheat ovens, obtain necessary funds, and prepare disinfectant wash water
• Order, receive, prepare, and serve student meals
• Complete necessary paperwork for documentation of tasks
• Monitor student lunch sales and maintain confidentiality of student meal status
• Perform cashiering functions and ensure efficient operation of the serving line
• Prepare daily serving and cashiering reports
• Clean, sanitize, and dismantle the serving line after meals
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and school site staff

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous education, training, work, or life experiences that provide reasonable evidence of successful performance of tasks
• Valid Alaska driver's license
• Alaska Food Worker card

The physical requirements of this job include frequent walking and standing, occasional reaching, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

This is a medium work position that requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects. Post-offer/pre-placement examinations are utilized to create a safer working environment for employees.
