Key Responsibilities- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food sanitation standards
- Manage guest orders in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring excellent customer service
- Stay up-to-date on menu offerings and food products, making recommendations to guests as needed
- Stock and maintain designated food stations, ensuring adequate inventory levels
- Inspect food items for quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a line cook in a full-service restaurant
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, frying, and food presentation
- Understanding of food safety protocols and regulations, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and adhering to cooking timelines
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey orders, instructions, and kitchen-related issues to team members and management
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the demands of the restaurant's operation
