We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting roadway and aviation plans using CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform civil design using knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil3D.
  • Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer/designer.
  • Perform field work as directed by a senior engineer/designer.
  • Assist with engineering/drafting duties on projects of various complexity.
  • Assist with collecting data and gathering information to support design decisions.
  • Assist in basic interpretation and verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
  • Construct models to identify project specifications and meet related needs by performing routing aspects of engineering assignments.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of civil engineering experience using a drafting program.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D experience required.
Physical Demands:

This position predominantly involves up to 8 hours per day at a computer workstation, with occasional standing and walking. The employee may occasionally lift lightweight office supplies and materials, typically not exceeding 20 pounds.

Expected Hours of Work:

The ICE offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, allowing an unpaid hour for lunch daily. Work schedules may vary according to the project schedule.
