Nurse Practitioner

Boulder Community Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a dedicated patient caregiver, you will provide comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients.
In this role, you will apply nursing theories, procedures, and standards to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to identify patient learning needs and develop individualized teaching plans.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct total patient care for specific groups of patients with collaboration as needed.
- Demonstrate clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identify the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
- Identify patient care problems, make interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
- Interpret cardiac monitoring system strips as ordered by physician.
- Assess patient status systematically and anticipate and respond to changes in patient clinical condition.
- Actively seek participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
- Colorado RN license in good standing.
- BLS required by end of conditional period.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- PCCN certification preferred.
- One to two years RN clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Six months to one-year Telemetry/Critical Care experience preferred.
