Job Description

Job Title: Director of Youth Development Programs

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Youth Development Programs to lead our Club's daily operations, focusing on program and service delivery, leadership development, and community partnerships. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing Club operations, supervising staff, and developing community support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Club's daily operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and develop a team of part-time professionals, interns, and volunteers to achieve program outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase membership, volunteer engagement, and community partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President to develop a budget that supports Club needs and monitors expenditures.
  • Ensure grant-funded programs are executed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize loss and exposure to loss.
  • Communicate and enforce organization's policies, procedures, and standards regarding facility upkeep, usage, and maintenance.
  • Ensure emergency procedures are implemented and followed, and take actions to prevent accidents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization at a professional level.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate leaders.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club leaders, volunteers, and community groups.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and technology as a tool for completing work.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Estimated Salary: $72,500
