About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
  • Troubleshooting: Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Documentation: Document and track changeover times and record to ensure accurate maintenance history.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in maintenance of Can Assembly Presses within a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Skills: Electrical experience, ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, diagrams, etc., and basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to solve practical problems, deal with a variety of concrete variables, and perform work in a mature and professional manner.
