Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Hours/Day: 10 hours

Shift Notes: 4 X 10s, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Weekend Requirements: Based on case load may require overtime

Relocation: Possible, to be discussed at interview

State Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment

Job Summary:

The CT/MRI Technologist is responsible for providing mobile diagnostic imaging services, including X-ray and CT/MRI scans, to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Portable Radiology Equipment: Produce diagnostic-quality images for Radiologist interpretation using portable (DR) or (CR) radiology equipment.
  • Travel to Various Locations: Perform X-ray/CT exams as ordered by physicians at various locations using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Obtain and Scan Exam-Related Documents: Daily, follow protocol to obtain and scan required exam-related paperwork and billing documents.
  • Communicate with Dispatch, Management, and Clients: Regularly communicate with dispatch, management, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain and Care for Radiology Equipment and Vehicle: Regularly maintain and care for radiology equipment and vehicle.
  • Assist in Training Other Technologists: Assist in training other technologists as required.
  • Perform Special Projects: Perform special projects or other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Physical Demands:
  • Technologists may be required to push or pull equipment weighing lbs.
  • Use of ramps and pulleys reduces the weight; however, the force applied may occur 16-24 times a day.
Certification Requirements:
  • ARRT (R.T) in MRI/CT required.
State License Requirements:
  • Limited License not accepted.
