About the RoleThis is a full-time position that will involve working in our clinics in the Greater Saginaw area. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB, and Depo, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
- Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
CVS Health offers a competitive salary range of $41.85 - $90.13 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan, and employee stock purchase plan.
