Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at American Traveler. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations, gaining valuable experience and skills.

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a generous housing allowance or company-arranged accommodations.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
  • Current professional license as required by the state
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions
